Airlie & Heath

Our Story

Back in 2003, we met while studying PE together at RMIT University. Between Uni Games, endless basketball chats, and Airlie’s laminated folders, a lifelong friendship was formed.

By 2007, we were both teaching PE and Health in secondary schools and quickly discovered how tough it was to stay on top of planning. Hours were lost to searching, rewriting, and modifying resources, only to find our friends in other schools were stuck doing the exact same thing.

We loved creating engaging activities and sharing ideas with others, and soon realised there was a bigger need.

In 2012, PE Made Easy was born as a way to share high-quality, ready-to-use resources and professional learning with HPE teachers everywhere.

Airlie Tudhope
I love all things HPE, especially designing engaging units, activities, and resources. I’m passionate about helping teachers build strong relationships, deliver quality lessons, and navigate curriculum with confidence.

I’m currently Head of Education & Training at Richmond Football Club, and have taught Health & PE and held leading teacher positions across multiple schools, the most recent being at Northcote High School.

I’m studying a Master of Educational Leadership at uNSW, serve on the HumanAbility Industry Advisory Committee for Sport & Recreation and have completed the AFL Women in Leadership program.

I have two young daughters and love travelling, holidays and creating memories through family adventures. I also love cafe visits, bushwalking, bike riding and dancing around the house to music.

Basketball and fitness have always been my passions. Alongside teaching, I ran outdoor fitness bootcamps for over a decade, developing a huge repertoire of fun warm-ups and games that I still use in my PE classes today.

I’m now the Health & PE Coordinator at Greensborough College, with experience across VCE PE, VET Sport & Recreation, HHD, and Outdoor Ed. I also lead our Basketball Program and Athlete Development Program, while still enjoying taking Year 7s for practical sessions — nothing beats getting students hooked on PE early!

Away from school, I’m a proud dad to two energetic boys who keep me moving. I love coaching, camping, travelling, and yes… I’m a bit of an IT nerd (though I try to keep that quiet at school!).
